Cube bargains

January is nearly here, and the sales are already starting, its ridiculous, but useful. Sort of.
Here's a short list of what I've found, so far. Admittedly not an A list, but there's some pretty decent games.
  • amazon - ssx tricky, xg3, crazy taxi.
  • game - lost kingdoms, crazi taxi, rocky.
  • gameplay - crazy taxi, xg3.
  • play - turok, rogue leader, thps3, xg3, bloody roar, crazy taxi.
  • gamestation - eternal darkness, resident evil.
  • argos - waverace, pikmin, monkey ball.
Well, those are the games I thought were good, anyway. If I had a proper debit card, I'd snap the gamestation ones up.

Anyone else got sales to add?

[edit: added argos]

Yep, know about all these already. :p

The Gamestation ones and Play's Burnout/Turok are particularly good.

Also, anybody who wants a Wavebird could do worse than DVDCrave. I got 2 of them delivered for £22 each.

You can also get
Medal of Honour: Frontline,
Fifa 2003
Tiger Woods 2003

and a few others for about £23 delivered. (all are Aussie versions but are identical to UK)

I fully expected you to know all of them, you always do. You're like some big giant who throws bargains down from on high.

The problem with wavebirds is they run on batteries, which is fucking crap.

See, now while the cube might not have many titles warranting £35-40 price tags, at just £20, lots suddenly seem realy, really good. Silly, isn't it?

I thought that too, but the freedom afforded by the wireless(ness) is great.

Oh, and one set of batteries lasts 4-6 months under normal use.

I still prefer to play games like Rogue Leader and Rocky with the normal pad because I think the vibration adds to these games, but playing Fifa 2003, Beachspikers and Burnout - I use the WBs.

Burnout is very playable for a budget title yeah. ;)

I also got Turok from Play - but that's still sealed and I haven't played it yet.
