CTF Grapple???

I noticed that the Grapple is available on most if not all Q3CTF servers on BW but havn't been able to use it. Looking around I've seen various binds as follows but none appear to work.

Does anyone know how to resolve this???

/bind <button> use grapple (from BW)
/bind <button> weapon 10

The grapple was disabled in the sourcecode by ID. They say that jump/bouncepads are replacements for it.

The grapple has been re-enabled in some mods, but you won't be able to use it in the standard games.

IIRC,

In Classic CTF, the grapple command is "weapon 10"

In Alliance CTF, the grapple command is "+button5"

I could be wrong, working from memory here.

You can use the grapple for Id CTF, but I don't think it even has a model (so it looks pretty grim). It's not enabled on any maps, so you need to be able to "give all" (i.e. have a cheats-enabled server running) and then (I think) select weapon 10.

This worked in old versions, but even this might have been removed in the later patches. Again, can't test it here at work.
