Hello there.
Athlon 1.4Ghz
768 MB 133Mhz SDRAM
Abit KT7a-RAID
Abit Goforce 4 Ti4200
Forceware 52.16 Drivers
Windows XP Home (SP1)
OK, everything is hunky dory on the system, but I'm having issues with Jedi Knight II. Specifically to do with the autorun program.
I put the disk in, and the mouse changes to it's "half busy" status and then - nothing, just carries on being "half busy".
Task Manager says that there's some 100% CPU usage going on, and resorting the list shows that this is being split between the "JediOutcast.exe" and "csrss.exe". The latter is a Windows service that aparently does something with displaying something else.
Both are going beserk, memory usage is popping up and down from 1MB to around 5 - sometimes higher and it just doesn't stop. I get an "Access Denied" error if I try to "End Process" on either of them.
Now, my wondering is if this is a result of the 5216 drivers, since it started happening after I installed them - but I don't know the relevance of the csrss.exe
Can anyone help?
