does any1 know if i can dowload CS:SOURCE from the internet,.. i bought it recently but lost it and cba buying new copy... if some1 could post site were to DL it i would be much obliged (sute with free cd key wouldnt be turned down either) :O tnx

Not totally sure if it would be available except from dlgamer or somthing where you'd need to buy it.

As far as I know HL2(and CSS) use Steam to encode all the files into 'steam format' which can only be used if you have a steam account using a valid cd-key.

I'm not sure but I think that when you first install HL2 you get the files but in a format that needs a key to unlock them. when you sign your account up with a valid cdkey you download the 'keys' for these files and make them usable.

I'm no expert but it sounds like you'll need to buy another one if you havent already signed your cd-key up to a steam account.
