CS it wont let me play it

i cant play cs HELP!!!please

Well im kinda gettin bord of tcf allthough its good, i cant get into cs i pass eveything like the WON stuff but it just stops at build server and does nothing, help me please help, ITS KILLIN ME!!!!Dont just view this answer if you can help

do you have the latest halflife patch? (1.1.0.4) you need this to run CS too.

CS hanging on the WON sever authentication or the bit just after that happened to me all the time (even with all the updates on).

I cured it by never launching a game from CS itself and only going through Gamespy 3D or launching a game of TFC first (to get the WON id bit out of the way) and then exiting and joining a CS game.

To this day I have no idea why, within the CS launcher itself, TFC works fine and CS does'nt.

Still, as I say, now I just use Gamespy.

i use game spy and all and PASS the won stuff it sits there on build server.

I have had the same problem with CS. I have the latest patch and pass the won id and get to the build too. I did run a LAN gam just to make sure it works and it does, so I can only assume there is a conection problem, or the servers just plain hate me :*(

hey

hey, i ask for help there has to be somthing i can do,im not down yet. In the mean time ill just frag poor inocent snipers from behind or plough into spys,demo men e.t.c with my heavy weapons guy or just snipe heads off. BUT I WANNA PLAY CS MORE!!! please help bye!!!

I have this problem with my Barrysworld dialup but not with an 0800 BT dialup.... Which ISP you using?

ok 2 easy things to try :

1) uninstall and reinstall Half-Life etc. Remember to back up your autoexec.cfg's etc, but *don't* back up your config.cfg - it may be a problem in that.

2) Try a different ISP.
