CS: connect via vpn

Ok - situation is, I'm trying to connect to a bunch of mates who are on a LAN at work. I'm at home & I can get through to them via a vpn. Therefore I have two ip's (one on the net and one on the vpn).
How do I get my ip on CS to default to the vpn's ip, rather than the net's one (iyswim)?

s'ok everyone, I've sussed it.
Just in case someone looks here: This is a w2k fix. if you've got your vpn setup so that you can get to the rest of the net still (e.g. ipconfig /all says that your default gateway is on the net adapter, not on the adapter allocated to the vpn), goto the 'Networking' settings of your vpn setup, select TCP/IP, properties, advanced and check 'Use default gateway on remote network'). This will stop seeing the rest of the net temporarily, but this change does no require a reboot.
That did make sense, didn't it?

I've got Win2k on a LAN so this may be worth fiddling around with when I have a lecture to avoid - just one question: VPN?
I'm guessing Private Network.

virtual private networking - bit like tunneling through the internet to a specific point.
works ok when it does work, can be a bitch to setup

For clarification, vpn allows you to log on to a network (work for example) via the internet. When conected you have all the lan functionality that you have when directly connected when at work.
I use it lots, its kewl :)
