I notice on CSNation that 1.5 and the relevant half life patch will be out wednesday, thats tomorrow.
What a fucking drama all over again ! Think ill get the Half Life patch first so I can carry on playing DoD !

Aye. Sounds like a good plan. I'm looking forward to the new cs patch, as I always do, hoping, once again, that it will be improved and no doubt those hopes will be dashed against the hard rock of wank coding....again :(.

I love being an Axis grenadier on DoD. Its like playing Q2 with a permanent rail gun, only the targets move at a quarter the speed :)

lol. I haven't played it in absolutely ages. I downloaded it the other day....then had to format my comp straight after :(. Might get round to downloading it again this week sometime.

I seem to have become the lone BW DoD pimp :) 'Tis good fun though :) And strangly enough, the bullets seem to go more or less where they are put. Its a realistic game, so one hit from a .303 bullet and you're dead, but the said bullets dont seem to dissappear anywhere.
The tommy/mp40 machine guns fired pistol rounds , so you can take 2 or 3 of them sometimes before you go down. Even the recoil is more realistic to me, when you fire, the gun goes up. Not rocket science :)

I cant remember when I last played DoD. I believe it was around the same time cs1.1 came out. So just a little while ago really :p .

Yep I started DoD on version beta 1.3 , which would have been about cs 1.1 I guess :)
When there was no recoil and the Garrand ruled !

Aye..that's when I stopped. The version before you could go on omaha as ally troop and get massive scores. My record was something like 1863/2 or something sick :D. All this talk of it, I'm definately going to have to download it again.

me thinks 1.5 could be late.

I have it from a very reliable source that they have just started (starting) the beta testing.

Just checked and the server update files are out. So I'd imagine that for once it isn't going to be late o_0.

he's an Admin, so thats probably why :p, Admins will get the updates before anyone else...

bah also doesnt look like they have released 1.5 Retail yet! :/

aye, downloading the 1.4-1.5 Update, which is 18mb only downloading at 13k tho :/

Didn't get the update quicker because I'm an admin. Though I just found out that the league admins could get it quicker through Rogue1. I got it because I'm a c*nt :p.

Well i think its gonna be swapped at around midnight-2am, just like they did for 1.4...

im not gonna install 1.5 yet because i wanna keep playin on the servers atm heh
