So G3/SG1 to be made T-only eh? Interesting... I hope that the SIG SG-550 is pretty powerful or else there's going to be problems on the maps where CT's can't buy an AWP (like as_tundra) which are already a sniper-fest nightmare by T's.
One little bug that I *seriously* hope gets sorted out is the team auto-balance on as_ maps. I know the VIP is counted as a seperate team for the purposes of auto-balance but it gets very frustrating sometimes. I played a game on as_oilrig lastnight and got teamswapped 6 times throughout the course of the map... was getting to the stage where I couldn't remember who I was supposed to be shooting ffs! Which is not a good thing on an FF server
Something I've found a little disappointing about CS is the relative "unrealism" of the guns and the way they are distributed. For a mod that is supposed to be realistic, the distribution of the weapons (and even the choices) are fairly arbitrary. There is no way in hell that a Terrorist organisation would get hold of a G3, or most H&K weaponry for that matter - that only happens in films where the bad guys wear shades and tailored suits, because after all an MP5K looks cool doesn't it.
It would be nice to see a more 'realistic' set of guns for the Ts, weapons that Terrorist organisations would actually acquire and use, eg:
Pistols: Makarov P9, Beretta, Mini-Uzi pistol, that other one I've forgotten the name of
SMGs: UZI 9mm, Skorpion, MAC 10
Assault Rifles: AK-47 (the quintissential T weapon), Galil
Sniper Rifles: oh come on, how likely are Terrorists to have snipers?
Course, this would put the T's at a bit of a disadvantage, but to even things up they're far more likely to use things like frag grenades, dum-dum bullets, etc.
Then again, it would be nice to see a more realistic complement of weaponry for the CTs also (eg bin that bloody Desert Eagle and replace it with a Browning Hi-Power)
