I've found 2 disks out of 4 that make up a set called Project Dead Eye, apparently a Rebel plan (I'm imp). Is this anything to do with Curse of Alderaan or just a bog standard mission?

Yeah for the cries of alderaan story you have to collect all 4 disks and then take them to a faction recuiter, dosnt matter which set of disks you get you can use either.

oh and you get a badge

I've killed a few hundred swoppers my factions is as worse as it can get not a single disc from them, killed loons in Kor Vella on Corellia for about 20k credits and got about 10 diff disc's a full set of imps and a half set of rebs with copies sold them off.
