Creation renderer error

I recently installed directx 9 on my pc, and i am now cursing myself. Whenever i try to log onto a character or server on DAoC it says creation renderer error and closes the game window, what can i do??
I have tried a program that supposedly uninstalls directx, and then i reinstalled DX8.1, but it still doesn't work.
I reinstalled both DAoC and SI and repatched but it still doesn't work.
I downloaded the latest drivers for my video card but it still doesn't work!!
PLEEASE help!

Update/reinstall your video card drivers then reinstall directx9 in that order. Should sort it out.
Officially you can't uninstall or roll back directx and programs that do it can cause problems for you down the line.
