Crashing to desktop

As title says, this machine keeps crashing out to desktop every 5-25 minutes, have no clue of whats going on. Tried reinstalling windows, card drivers, directx 9.0.

WinXP
Athlon 1.8 +
256 mb ram
Geforce 2 ti 32mb
Gygabyte mobo

PS: only using this machine for PvE.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I had this same problem. I reinstalled my graphics drivers then reinstalled DirectX (in that order) and it cleared up.
Always reinstall DirectX whenever you update graphics drivers otherwise it causes all sorts of problems.

Grah, cant sort it out. Oh well, ill just change the card.

this has been an issue for a while

1) make sure you desktop colour is set to 16bit

2) uninstall you grahpics and dx and reinstall

that should sort it.
