Crashes, Scripts & a Disapearing gun?

Although I've not really played that much of the original Tribes ( I only have the demo, and only got that bcuz i was imaptient for T2 ), I have noticed one annoying thing. Every now n then, the game seems to freeze up, and then crashes my whole system, causing me to reboot again
Maybe it's just my comps, or just cuz it's the demo?
Hmm anyway, that aint my point really...I just hope that this sorta thing doesn't happen on T2, although im quite expecting it to, and also expecting to have to get loadsa patches for it upon release (If what i hear everyone saying about the original game is anything to go by).

Also i know that Tribes uses a lot of scripting etc, so i was wundrin if when you do the T2 guide SAS, maybe u could provide some kind of Scripting guide perhaps?

One final thing, is there anyway to remove the gun from view in Tribes? It isn't a particularly BIG problem, only I've kinda become used to not having a gun in my view, after playing Quake2 for 2+ years And it'd be nice to go into T2 knowing taht if it can be done in Tribes, then it'll more than likely be able to be done in T2

Firstly, i got the demo and played it for about a month b4 i got tribes and i found it fine. Also Tribes2 won't have any of the same bugs that tribes had because it is a totally different engine (hence the sweet graphics)

Not sure about removal of the gun, there prolly is a way but you will have to ask the dev team or ask someone on a server when it comes out. I love having my gun in view, the only thing that put me off SWAT3 was the fact that you couldn't see your game, i didn't buy it because of that.

Same thing happend with Rainbow 6.

As for scripting, there are billions of scripting sites out there but all the popular scripts in Tribes1 are being incorperated into tibes2 so i doubt there will be any useful scripts for some time.

Patches..

Patches are a way of life these days for any game it seems but they are not necessarily bad If they made the game 100% bug proof, cheat proof and anything else proof the game would never come out

I'll do a guide, but won't be able to do a scripting section. My knowledge + time is limited, but If someone is good at T2 scripts no reason why he can't handle that side of the guide and have his name up in lights

I just watched it and although I couldn't make out most of what the d00d was saying ( It' in Belgique? i think ), I could make out that the guy was giving a demonstration of the game

If u are woried about how tribes doesnt run very well, is probably due to the fact geforce didnt exist or any +500mhz proccesor ever existed. so tribes2 will be more optimised
