Crap ping with ADSL

well..

all i have to say is Hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahhaha................HA

bad ping on adsl is bad. you get it from time to time, one way is called UK2, but they even everyones ping out. other is called saturday rush hour, and i believe the most common is called openworld updating servers and lines every other day to get the country all open to adsl

but, also still use the old cl_updaterate 10
cl_cmdrate 10 and cl_download_ingame 0

also, get rid of ICQ and MSN in background, any internet sharing, firewalls not always being compatible, yada yada yada.

Now that I can get on BTo again I remembered why I rarely bother now. My netgraph looked like the himalayas last night.

To anyone with cable, or functional ADSL: "It's not fair !"

Luckily I never cancelled my ISDN contract. I'll have to dig out the drivers. When's Barrydial back ?
