crafting on pvp server

just wondering since on pvp all races from all realms play together, does that mean the crafters will be able to make all the diff kinds of stuff from all realms, or just the stuff from ther native realm? or have i got this pvp thing totally wrong lol

Yeh as far as I know you can craft all kind of gear from all realms.
At least a lvl 50 mentalist crafted my theurg on andered some cloth with materials bought in camelot etc.

Gooosh it's cool to wear biiig midgard axes as hib/alb chars.

hero in chain with polearm
bard in studded
champions with 2h axe
etc

It's all wierd and fun

Mythic added a /craft <realm> command, to select which realms items will appear on the relevant crafting menus.

I was under the impression heros could wear the chain from other realms, but that alb/mid chain-wearers could NOT wear scale?

As far as I know, that's right. You can wear the equivalent armour from the other realms: reinforced = studded, scale = chain, but only the albion plate-wearing classes wear plate.

There's one exception to this: helmets, due to a limitation of the DAoC engine. Armour graphics are just a skin, so any player model can "wear" any armour skin. Helmet graphics, however, are actually part of the head of the player model - that is, each hib model has the 3 different hib helmets built in, so it is impossible for a norseman to equip a hibernian helmet, or for an elf to equip a midgard one.

One nice bonus for hibs: CS heros can use polearms without needing to train the pole AND slash or thrust specs the way armsmen do.
