The only reason this game will reach No. 1 in the charts, is for the simple fact that it is bundled with an invite to the Halo 3 MP Beta.

Well, I suppose it's one way to sell a game.

The demo was boring, I dont like auto aim games that lock on to the enemy although James Bond Everything Or Nothing made auto aiming fun.

Sadly the Halo beta will shift copies.

I thought it was boring when I followed the story, but the experience was extremly different when I did what I felt like. I honestly enjoyed it very much, although the enemies was abit easy. There are lots of little cool details here and there, like shooting the cars tires etc :)

I'm a little weird when it comes to games though, as I enjoyed N3 more than GoW.

Owning both games myself, and based on your statement, i can recommend a good therepist that will correct this dirty thought.

I love it, the freeform gameplay is a blast. I can do what I want when I want and not feel constrained or pushed down a predetermined path like 99% of other games. A deserved hit in my opinion.

i love the maxed agility though, its like being in the matrix

you seriously have to. Try driving over a few baddies in the centre of one of the districts, and more will appear :) Use the 2nd agency car.

Awesome game, was a bit slow to start out but soon found myself really into the whole collecting orbs, skilling up abilities and generally found myself just exploring rather than following any particular one objective which is to me the sign of a good game, so likely one ill pick up.

Incidentally the name of the company who made this rang a bell, the founder of said company is the chap who bought my daoc account back in the day. Small world :>

ROFL! You know what Delk, I frigging remember you telling me his name (David Jones) as well because he paid so damn much for that account, he just formed that company who are making Crackdown from what I can see. :D Now we know where he got his inspiration from, Dark Ages of Camelot! :D

Personally I was going to buy this as it's actually quite playable. That is until they both said that...

Well he and some of the people there were also founders of DMA who made the origional GTA (And lemmings iirc!) so i guess they're entitled to making GTA clones :>

Played through the demo, kinda liked the advanced leveling up so you can get a taste of what kind of power you have later on in the retail game.

Don't like the cars that much feel very heavy, but it is a lot of fun, espically kicking a guy off the top of a building and seeing him fly and of course the agility is great you can leap most buildings which is pretty good.

Just playing through Just Cause at the moment and I am now enjoying the outlandish sandbox games, makes a nice change.

Think they heaviness of the cars is a byproduct of having no driving skill. When i gained a point or so it was noticeably better handling, though i never bothered with it much.

oi, this game is almost 2 months old now, but play-asia has it for something like £18. They're selling most of their +1month games 20% cheaper afaik.

PS. We could use a bargain thread or section :/
