my brother was out with a few friends tonight, something happenned to his oyster card so he decided to walk from one town to another (twickenham to kingston) to get home, 45 minute trek.

he was walking down the street and there was a bloke in a hoodie sitting on the wall.. and as he goes past that guy shouts to another down the road who then calls on another guy waiting on the other side (this could go on and on...;'d) and the two down the road start running towards him, the guy behind following. being of sound mind he starts fucking running through the middle and manages to get past.. the guys literally chased him for 20 minutes lolz till they just ended up giving up..

all i can think of is what a bunch of fucking cowards, that could've easily lead to him being beaten up or even stabbed. anyone else had anything like this?? happenned to a bunch of people i know recently in different areas, seems the new thing for pikey chavs is to setup some kind of stupid trap

we're thinking of going to the same stretch of road next week with loads of people hiding and waiting armed with chicken drumsticks to get them back..

Happens all the time, happened to me, walking home with a lass after a night out in a club about 3am in the morning, walking up a road chatting looked forward saw two lads infront walking towards us, obviously intent on doing harm to us, unfortunately couldn't react in time due to the girl being with me and ended up losing my phone and wallet (only £3 but all my cards/id etc..). They wait for people they see as a soft targets, it's sad really cause they get a buzz about it (I hear similar esq people talking about stuff they have done on the bus and bigging themselves up), it's just the kind of world we live in.

Glad your brother had a lucky escape, hope he remebers not to misplace his oyster card next time. Might not be so lucky.
