I have two cards that I would like, Voodoo 5 5500, and The Hercules Ge Force 2 MX, but are these good for it or are the crap

With the 3dfx sale to Nvidia buying a Voodoo now is not advisable. I think they have been withdrawm from sale anayway (Not 100% sure on that). The GeForce 2 gives better performance than the V5 in any case.

Go With the GeForce. (Herculees models are good)

im going the "other way". I've decided that what i need to replace my rage fury is a radeon 64 meg DDR ViVo. Should go nicely with 512 meg of ram and a P3-800 .

Oh yeah... Me wud get a GeForce 2 GTS if you can afford one... if not, the MX is a cool card, but the geforce 1 DDR's are quicker. V5 5500's... not bad. Maybe a bit quicker than an MX tho. I think the image quality on 'em is a bit too blurry though.

I have a TNT2 and it is cool at quake3/UT so the v5 or geforce2 should be the k9's testicles.

On the latest games my comp runs slow but i think that is to do with my celeron 400. I know someone who has nearly the same setup but has an AMD athlon 700 and the same games run at about 2 times the speed so i am going to get an AMD duron 800 as soon as i can be botherd. (duron because i can't afford anything else)
