Anyone got anytips for a Noob to BF?

I was playing on it last night and didnt do too bad but when I kept flying the plan I ket crashing!

Any other tips?

I want to join a clan ya see but before I do I wouldnt mind have some experiance at it!

get a joystick with a throttle if possible, you can slow right down and its easier in dog fights.

Losing speed in a dogfight *may* lose you the fight

Speed is crucial - yes it may get you a slightly tighter turn, but the plane with the greater amount of speed will always win.

Learn the flag capture sizes. Different maps have different areas that you can cap in. If you know how big these are you can not only find enemies greying your flags easier but also grey flags in places that most people won't think to look in.

Over medium distances with assualt weapons always crouch.

Play as an engineer for a few days, use the rifle non stop until you know how far to lead. This lead distance is the same for every gun in the game, once you've got it down you'll be able to pick off running people with a few pistol shots.

With the exception of the German Tiger, and the Allied M10 every tank in the game can be killed by a single AT round into the rectangle of metal between the rear treads. If you are in a tank be aware of this and make sure that you don't allow AT soldiers to get behind you. If you are using an AT go prone in a bush/behind a rock on a main tank route. The tanks will whizz along the route and you can pick up easy kills slamming rockets into their rear.

Practice bombing locally so you don't waste your teams planes on servers by missing every single bombing run. Most tanks can be killed by a single bomb placed directly onto the top of the turret. Tigers require a bomb into the tracks to kill. When you make your bombing run try to stay high that way the tank driver cannot shoot you down with a shell as you make your approach. Don't waste plane bombs on jeeps, APCs, artillery units or men on foot. All can be killed by machine gun alone.
