Counter Strike / Windows XP Compatibility?

Hey y'all, i have just been Issued with a Version of Windows XP, but, i am not going to Install it until i know CounterStrike can Play Online... i know, i love CS to much.. and dont wanna lose it, heh.

i believe there is a Program on the XP Disc, in the SUPPORT Folder, which checks to see if you have Games Installed, and to have them Fixed so Games can play on XP, but i have forgotten the name of the Program in the Folder (Awww (*^^%)

If anyone can help me out.. would be appreciated

I’ve just built myself a new comp and installed windows xp and CS seems to run fine, apart from the odd sound glitch but i'm not sure if that’s the new version of CS as I haven’t played for 6 months. I’ve done a complete reinstall of half-life and then patched up from there.

I have been running XP now for about 3 weeks without too many problems.

As for XP and CS you could have mouse problems if so see my post for the solution.
