Could you all help with my problem please.

I am having trouble with my system and need people with similar systems to help me by running a quake 3 timedemo and posting there results.
I have Tbird 900, Geforce2 GTS, 256 MB RAM, Soundblaster live Value, DX8 and using Nivida 12.41 drivers.

Running timedemo 1 and using demo127 I get 70fps.

This is at 1024x768x32 all graphical options at full and all game detail on (wall marks, ejecting brass etc) the only thing I disabled was sounds using s_initsound 0 and then snd_restart.

Could you please run the test as I did and post your scores and system specs.

This would really help me thanks.

Just thought I'd include a couple of benchmarks from others for similar CPUs and resolutions etc with a GF2. As you can see a T-bird&950+GF2 running Q3 in high quality 1024x768 on the sugashack one gets 71.8fps.

Remember when people post their benchmarks and get l33t scores very few of them are running with a standard high quality setting and have all the stuff like brass and marks and 1024:768:32. Your results don't seem that way off. You don't say what mobo u have? If it has a via chipset make sure it has the Via 4in1 drivers loaded as well.
