NOTICE: This guide is for purely getting Master Enforcer, having fun is a bonus.

Firstly, I would like to say that yes, I have got a Master Enforcer toon in Thidranki. It has 31,000 kills at the moment and I have 50,000 kills throughout Europe, so I would advise that you listen to what I say.

At the time of this writing, there is no known Master Enforcer in Europe, I know of none in the USA but I think there already may be a couple in Thidranki. Master Enforcer is the title given to a player who can gets 25,000 overall kills. When playing at 50 RvR, players start to gain Master Enforcer Enfocer at around RR11L1-11L7, depending on playstyle of course (for certain cases the boundries may need to be stretched, but this is the general trend). Before embarking on the vicious, time-consuming journey to Master Enforcer, I ask you only to consider these three very important factors:

  1. Whilst 50 RvR action is guarenteed on a popular server, Thidranki action is not. With lack of enemies compared to 50 RvR, you will find that it will take you considerably longer to reach it than in 50.
  2. You must be prepared to give atleast 12 months - 24 months (depending on your server) to actively play about 30 hours a week on average, otherwise, you will not get it before DAoC closes down.
  3. Achieving this is no easy task, it requires willpower beyond recognicition, stickability, persistance and skill, without these facotrs you do not stand a chance in hell.
(WARNING: At the risk of getting Master Enforcer, your enjoyment may suffer, whilst at times this has happened to me, my love for the community and for my character has always pulled me through, as I said, persistance and willpower are the keys).

Here are the 10 steps that will take you to Master Enforcer:

1) Zerg Zerg Zerg

This is a very important one. Drop your self-pride for a minute and think to yourself because there is no other way.

2) Ignore the Flamers

This is also one of the most important ones. I get a lot of flames on Freddyshouse and the German forums and I know this can be the undoing of some people's DAoC careers. Just ignore them, because it will do you no good, if you are like me and enjoy a good flame, by all means read them to laugh in your opponents faces.

3) Pick a Class You Will Stick With

This is the most important one. The Class you pick will be with you for every single kill. Your class needs to be efficient, it needs to be able to solo effectively if you get into desperate measures and, of course, needs to be good at what it does. Don't be fooled into thinking that just because you are a support character you will get more groups than others, in Thidranki, there is often very little choice so you are bound to get groups anyway.

4) Pick a Realm You Will Stick With

You saw this one coming. I would advise do what I do, play a week in each Realm, see which one has the better players, see which one is most underpopulated and make a decision which you feel will best earn you kills.

5) Be Nice to People

I've got 22,000 kills and although I get in all the best groups, I would say atleast 50% of my kills are from grouping with average, everyday casual players. I have been nice to everyone, even those who play shite, I always encourage people and help them out and am always optimistic if our group makes a massive blunder. My rewards? Before my loading screen is full I find myself already fully buffed (I have no buffbot). I can get into any group I want. I can get away with most things (but I do persist to be nice). Be nice to them, because they are humans too, and you can reap the benefits.

6) Leach Leach Leach

Every kill counts. Every kill counts. Every kill counts. Every kill counts. I will say it once more, EVERY KILL COUNTS. It may not look it now but I saw atleast 2000 of my kills came from leaching for that one kill, if you're in a zerg, hit one enemy and move on, this is how your kills fly up.

7) Keep Your Friends Close and Your Enemies Even Further

Don't socialise with the enemy. I learned this to my cost and I can only advise you not to, they will stab you in the back and will make comments about you that you thought they never would do. Your friends will stick up for you in the toughest of times, it's quite a nice feeling when some Alb makes a racist remark about you on the forums and about half of the Hib community flame him to hell. The guy hasn't made a bad comment about me since.

8) Think Tactically When Choosing Groups

For example, if you are in Hib, choose to play with an Animist, you can leach more kills off him. Although, as I stated earlier, you should be fair to everyone, think of an excuse, get into the best groups or the groups you feel have a better chance of gaining you kills.

9) You Will Die, Don't Cry. Be Persistant

You will die, and you will die a lot. You will die countless times on the battlefield and if you have a problem with that then that you be your main downfall. Part of getting Master Enforcer is picking yourself up when you are down. When you have been wiped and the Alb zerg is on and your group has logged off, ask around the Thid guilds, get people to join, keep trying to get people to play. If there are no enemies about, wait, keep faith. Even if you are being chained 100 times there could be that stroke of fortune where 2 or 3 good players log on, followed by a couple more. One day I was being chained by Albs, emoted all day, I lost all hope when I contacted one person whom contacted four others. I made 400 kills that evening.

10) Taking a Break Doesn't Hurt

You will need breaks, and taking one giving time to rethink is always a good idea. When you come back full of life again, you will be able to concentrate at the task at hand.

Side Note:

Hello everyone, I guess most of the Thidranki community have moved to pastures new and so won't be able to read this. For those of you who are undoubtedly interested, I am doing fine at the moment in life and enjoying my second spell in Avalon Thidranki. For those old school players who want my e-mail, just PM me.

Thank you, and if you have any questions feel free to PM me.
