finished reading this a few days ago, its an ( opinionated ) history of the sicilian mafia, makes for some interested reading although the author ( imo ) interjects too much personal opinion.

It deals with the first known records of the organisation, its leadership, structure, history, feuds, near demise and future.

Well worth picking up.
