Corrupt audio.vl2?

I just purchased Tribes 2 and my audio.vl2 is corrupt. I can't install any patches and the "First Aid" program tried ~1000 times to fix this, and it did not.

I was wondering how anyone fixed this or if there is a valid spot for me to download a NON corrupted version of this file? Or if someone was kind enough to send me it via icq (1019162) it would be appreciated.

I presume you've tried reinstalling yes? If that doesn't work then I suggest taking your copy of Tribes2 back to the shop you bought it from and asking for a replacement copy - they shouldn't have any problem with that.

Yeah, try a reinstall, or try copying the audio.v12 straight from the t2 cd

I have reinstalled 5 times, copied the audio.vl2 manually, had first aid copy it around 1000 times.

Nothing has worked

I will take it back today. I bet the computer illterate people at Future Shop will not understand. heh.

AMD

I just tried this on my friends PIII 500 and the audio.vl2 update correctly.

I think its my AMD 1GHZ Processor. Anyone know a fix to this?
