Nice fight we had last night in Gorge. Coren, you are one tough minstrel I must say. It looked as if you were going to win that fight. To bad that Champion came and interfered. Not that I blame him for doing anything wrong though.

Your damageadd was too much in the end tho - after we both used fa2 and IP. I just can't deal any damage by then.

Now that was a nice fight Arlone!!

Thing is, I got to shoot you a lil before engaging melee. With Coren, it all started with him sneaking up behind and mezzing me. So I had to rely only on my tiny piercers and some RA's.

I hope we can do it again soon Arlone.

I'm just wondering, about your fight with Arlone.

After using RA's, did it come to a point where you both had full health and were engaged in melee?

A ranger beating an Armsman in melee sounds a little odd, but fair play to you if you did

not really no cause I had to use my IP very early in the 'match' (and i used it before FA2 .. Rev used Fa2 first then IP).

It's no so strange. He shot me 4 times with the bow, first time when i sat down (does that still give double damage?) and then beat me fair in melee

I bet the results would be diffrent in next patch tho (when they fix block/parry) and perhaps I should stop sitting inside trees, in first-person view when afk making coffee

Was a close fight tho and it lasted a good 3-4 mins. All respect to Rev

Ranger rocks for ooe fights. Celtic dual and a damage add. VERY hard to kill when they have IP/FA2.

Rangers are nasty melee'rs. no doubt about that.

and its not double damage when youre sitting. that would make my PA hit for up 1600 without crits

i_think_ your resists are canceled (except the ones from your armor) and your AF is lowered. Or, you simply do max damage on sitting targets.

sitting target = max damage (which is bad if its a crit shot)

when sitting you take double damage, however the attack still has the same damage cap, so generally if you hit a sitting person you hit for your damage cap, resists don't come into it at all (atleast in no way diferent to normal).
