right for ages ive ran mkvs through mkv2vob then transfered it to ps3s internal hdd via ps3mediaserver. tho past week anyhting ive tried to copy over has always stuck at 99% ive even tried tvversity and and tried WMP with same result. makes me wonder if the latest fw has put a block on stuff like this

Having no problem FTP'ing files using custom firmware 3.55 but it wouldn't suprise me if Sony have placed some limitations in 3.56 bud.

well tried everything but nowt is working. think its not a fw as some peeps have hit upon the problem on older firmware as well.

well gave up on this and i just noticed a thread on avf about it. seems the latest version of mkv2vob has a problem with files with dts on. installed old version and all is fine

never used wifi for the ps3 always kept it hardwired but i dont think it supports N draf/final. i think peeps opt to use a bridge or a N router acting as bridge but imho for streaming stuff cant beat the trusty old hard wire way
