Camlann isn't really a "3rd English server", it's just that English was chosen as the most common common language for the Euro PvP server.

Fun is in the eye of the beholder. You don't want to play on a co-op yourself, then don't play on it, same as I would never go near the festering toilet that I consider Camlann to be.

i can understand why goa wont do a coop server because at the moment there isnt enough new players coming to play the game.

Frankly i would like a coop server i prefer pve i think to rvr and lets face it ever one whines about rvr more than toa

the only problem with a coop server is that after you ding rr10 and ml10 there isnt much else to do it wouldnt appeal to the majority of players.

if it was for all realms like camlaan then you would probbly get a good range of players from the other servers who would zerg it in the first few days to be the first to 50.

A coop server would be a nice idea but i think it should be considered very carefully. because you risk depleting already low servers of active players. Peresonally i would prefer it if the english servers got a third choice but that wont happen until probbly when prydwens pop hits around 2500 or similar with excal and that wont happen because of the 0 marketting and advertising in the uk.


a more realistic aproach would be too sort out the discrepancies in patches with the US and Europe and have mythic hold back on major patches until they are translated goa should just merge with mythic and we have access too all the US servers as well as the Europe ones. That way The US gains extra servers that mutli lingual peeps can pick french german or english (soon spanish and italian) prydwen and excal can be clustered with some low pop US servers.

Camlaan can be clustered with mordred we get access to gerharis the coop server.

Bingo problem solved

Ask mythic to make their next expansion co-op, along with clustering you have everything you want and everyone wins (except those on the already exsisting co-op servers)

It have been stated by goa that they don't have the rights to make a coop server, Mythic owns the rights of a daoc coop server. So there will not be a coop server unless it's a huge demand of it and Mythic see it as a need for a coop server here. If you really wanna play on a coop server you'll have to play on the us servers I guess.

So go spam Mythics mails.

For the last time, I will now demonstrate why there is no Euro coop server and there will never be one :

Current players on Gaheris(Coop) : 629

Which is the least populated server of all USA servers (except Pendragon of course). It's now almost USA peek hour, so distract 1/3 to have the probable peak population of a Euro coop server.

Not enough.

End of story.

(note : yes Mordred currently doesn't have much more, but when the PvP servers were still fresh they were a huge hit, hence we have one in Europe too. Gaheris never had a big population.)

COop server is more about the comunity than about ganking your enemys

i mean lets face it how many people do actually hold a grudge against individuals who have ganked them in the passed and feel cheated if they dont get their death spam.

Coop server takes that away allows you to be totally carebear without getting stressed over am relic raids or /lag casting or los bugs because its YOU vs the GAME.

Probbly be the least stressful server

Playing on Gaheris (u.s coop) and loving it. C'mon over! We need more euro's over here :-D

Population is fine. Remember 600+ppl here are 600+ realmmates, so in a way we have the same population as the rvr-servers, just much more space to breathe in

Only drawback is all the raids you will miss on weekdays cause of the timedifference.
