I play as mentioned above, Shocko, not that i ever have been, or am, much of a Q2 player.

However i don't even have a choice in the matter now. ID Are almost unique in games designers, in that they used very good code - where good means standardised, so ports to other systems isn't a huge task.

The Q2Ace people, have windowsized their code, so that the actual Q2Ace code itself can't be applied to say, a Linux tree. I don't have any sympathy for any project that looks to iscolate certain types of gamers.
