oo that one sounds really good, you could put some yellow/red pepper squares on the skewer too and stuff, add ginger and garlic to that marinade and be better ;) in my opinion anyway

yeah stick some veg on the skewers if you like, bit of mange tout rodney or pepper, maybe some cherry tomatos. ginger in the marinade perhaps, no garlic.

With tiger or king prawns ( actually, dont eat those, cant remember why, but they are a no-go right? ) I would go with oil, chili, cumin, garlic in the pan, add vegetables of choice, preferably crunchy ones, add a bit of spinach in the end. Make sure to not overcook the prawns, litterly takes a few minutes to get them ready. Dont take too much oil/fluids to take away the crunchyness either.

Right, these prawns ive got are already cooked and frozen (some tesco finest tropical gold plated stuff).

Currently thawing them now, what cooking time am i looking at with them?

Ive made a sauce of some sort with oil, garlic, chilli flakes, thai chili paste and ginger powder.

Cumin with sea food is just a no no. Unles you're making some kind of west indian fish curry, which he isn't.

Turned out very good.
I didnt burn my cock off either, despite using two different forms of chili.

Looking at you tdc.

I use cumin with my fried fish all the time? in fact, my idea would be to make a batter with a light amount of cumin, batter the prawns and deep fry them. eat with something like a chilli or coriander aioli for some fingerfood.

Turned out very good.

you often look at me while talking of your cock?

idk, do you? Also, not many people are gonna add cumin to tempura. Chilli perhaps, but not often cumin.
but eh. tempura isnt an ordinary batter.

but on another note. tempura fucking rocks. like big fucking mountain rocks.

well. its batter. but the batter is usually made just seconds before its applied to the stuff you deep fry. that is the difference (possibly also the stuff thats included in the batter).

tempura batter is different as its really light its just flour and ice cold water, or often sparkling water
