Constant "Login timed out."

Now that the password retrieval system finally came back up, I was able to login to the game, now I have a new problem, I constantly get "Login timed out", exact text is;

"Entering the fray...
Connecting to server...
Handshaking...
Login timed out."

Doesn't matter what server I chose, it's not a firewall issue and it's not down to my latency.

Have had a look around some other forums to no avail, seems Mythic are completely unaware of this problem or just don't care to give us an update on the issue

Servers down, game being patched.

It took about an hour of attempts before I got the message that the server was down after getting the constant login timed out message, perhaps they were just slow with updating the message ><
