Considering Prydwen.

Well the above says it all really.

Considering the switch from excaliber. Was wondering however what the server is like. Are there many low level people to level with? What are the people like? Do you have RVR only guilds annoying everyone?

Also wondering what character to do. I know Hibernia really well so the easy option would be to level there. Although i really like the idea of a Minstrel but know Albion at all. If there are enough low level people around to help show me around i may consider making that switch. Not sure wether to roll another Warden, a Ranger or a Bard. Would like to do Alchemy again can anyone let me know if rangers can do Alchemy? I presume Minstrels can so there is another plus to a mincer.

With the release of SI in 3 weeks there are going to be lots of people leveling new classes in all 3 of the realms on prydwen, so the only grouping problems you may have are due to picking a less group friendly class (a ranger may well fall into that catagory).

And yes rangers can do alchemy

But if you want easy RvR choose hibernia or albion since they've got so many people online at all hours it seems like they're zerging all the time ...

Only problem with albion is finding my way around. I played Minstrel on Camlan & levelled in Hibernia Also i hear the Hibs need some numbers over on prydwen.

my advice is dont bother tbh

the nolby locust mince machine has arrived here and there in full swing of destroying our quiet little server

mids where top of the server a month or 2 ago
now the albs and hibs r locked in a bitter power struggle (teh zerg war episode 2 attack of the nolby mana clones)

All strgth relics are ours
All power relics r the tree huggers

mids skulk on alb frontier road so thats always good for a fight

but if your considering it theres plenty of wee n00belts around and im never on anon so /send me if you need a hand

You are now one of the select few Mids who brought a smile to my face on BW

Anyway, Hibernia is the smallest realm, we have 3 pow relics, yes, but we have a rapid response time, and not like it´s hard to scout a relic raid force these days

To go on, Since a few days, Hibernia has a RvR focused guild, Nolby Pride. (are they from...yes they are)

Albion has a RvRish guild to, Servants of the Lake, although they also gank Legion twice a week or so with their alliance. But Soulfly is in SotL, so I wouldn´t consider it an option

xp groups: well, it´s harder to get groups here, since we´re half the population of a "normal" server, but this does increase the "community" feel most of the people on this server are friendly and willing to help(inserts flame: besides the LoE l33t kiddie zerg, you guys got pwned last night!) and I think you´ll find that no matter which realm you choose.

Regarding class: wardens and bards are easiest to lvl, you´ll get 5 sends asking if you want to group when you log on. Ranger..pffft

Albion has quite a few RvR guilds, some focusing more on Home Frontier (most Unity Alliance Guilds), some like SotL and LoE focusing more on taking the fight to the enemy...

(And no it's not another SotL flame, kudos to them for getting out there, but they are not the only RvR guild on Alb/Pryd)

Yeah was kinda kidding there, all 3 realms are quite equal when it comes to effectiveness in rvr, but as on most servers emain is where most of the zerging takes place, so if you want fast and easy access to the zergzone then choose albion or midgard, since it's 10mins tops between the ports back to emain, whilst the hibernians has to run for a ungodly amount of time ... not easy when you have to stop every two steps and behold all the beautiful flowers'n stuff everywhere, guess that's the downside of being a treehugger

I would like to return the favour (alb/prydwen) and help you out with some cash / information.

If you are thinking about minstrel i can say it is a fun clas to play.
Make a smal Briton and spec slash & instruments till level 40 or so

btw there is allready an erikose on prydwen

My advice is simple, pick a realm that you've not played before. All the realms have interesting classes to play, and starting off with no coin in an environment you don't know is a very refreshing experience. I did it recently on mid / excal when I grew tired of alb / pryd, and it was like 15th Feb 2002 all over again. Everything was new and exciting and totally renewed my interest in the game again.

All 3 realms I think will have lots of new players and new alts with the release of SI. And if you avoid the big RvR-orientated guilds and go for a small friendly mid-low level guild, you can probably get a nice supportive environement to level with from the begining.

I was actually mocking you. Hence the extremely bad spelling and use of stupid words. As regards your flames you still have a long way to go as compared to Albs for flaming and to Mids. Odins on Wednesday is alot different from how I remember it as well. We killed Hibs there all night. Think we only died twice and that wasn't because of you that was because of the mids. Once when we got wiped at X-roads near Bledmeer by mids and SotL turned up and helped. Another near the HMG when we started fighting the mids and then you turned up in the middle of the fight. So don't start preaching that you are uber killing people that are already half way through a fight. Tosser. Learn to flame with actual facts and information and stop appearing such a cock.
