I have an idea lets CROSS realm cooperate.
Take all yer crafters and build as many rams as possible and lets charge and take GOA HQ, and claim the servers, to a country with decent ISP´s like sweden *cough*cough*.

I can pull guards.
The rest of u just kill all inc.

Well thats constructive isnt it.

KPNQwest employees abandon posts
By Thomas C Greene in Washington
Posted: 19/07/2002 at 20:46 GMT

The last remaining employees of KPNQwest have walked out, leaving a vast chunk of communications infrastructure running on auto-pilot. Workers did not follow through on their threat to shut the operation down, but now if anything breaks, it simply won't get fixed.

How long it will last is purely a matter of fortune, both technological and financial. If the company is bought before nature brings it down, then customers may escape fatal interruptions, which is more than we can say for the company's shareholders and workers.

Rumours of the bankrupt company's imminent purchase at firesale prices are still being floated by its officers, though some of what it possesses is already in the hands of receivers in several countries, which no doubt makes that a bit complicated. ®

Nice bit of spin there :D

There was a nasty connection problem around 6.30pm BST (7.30pm CET) tonight <Still a nasty problem>. Everyone on all servers lost connection very briefly <repeatedly not briefly>.

Our teams are on it and are investigating the cause...
We are sorry for the inconvenience <Good to know>.

When they posted that on the website, many people were logging back in so I would say that justifies their term of briefly.

The fact that it was still happening didn't arise until after the message was posted, and maybe they were busy trying to find out to keep updating the news.

God, I'm sick of this.

i had a break for 90 mins, after I got bored of playing Russian Roulette with my Lag-O-Meter being the only indication that there might be a bullet in my gun, wondering how long it would be till my next death or LD or LD death.

so i log on and now its worse. Oh look at that poor bard he looks LD. red square, red square, green circle. No, you silly sod, it's you who's LD. I can connect but i cant stay connected for more than 10 secs.

and btw I also have have Brodband (ADSL), however I am all too familiar with LD's, but never this bad. It's un-play-able atm.

Well done to GoA for having the balls to make an anouncement on their website. But we need to be kept updated, because to me the words:

Everyone on all servers lost connection very briefly.

is quite simply insulting.

i feel like they are taking my money, then /laugh 'ing at my LD corpse.

are the USA servers ever like this? or is this special treatment saved for europe servers along with massive patch delays etc.

Heh, look at the main general disussion board.

The problem is a lot of people don't realise how sodding fickle internet connectivity can be, and so start screaming for blood when something goes wrong.

Have a little patience, for gods sake. There's no need to flame me and say you pay for the service either, I pay too. I just understand that things can go wrong.

This is not Eden.
