Connecting to service... retrying... retrying... retrying.. cant connect

Same here, and servers are not down.

Sounds like somethings blocking you from connecting to the service, I usualy got that when my firewall was blocking the port etc, dunno if there can be something between you and GoA blocking it?

there was this time ( while back ) where all .chello users got blocked and couldnt logon... Maybe this is the same.....?

same here. chello broadband netherlands.

i have difficulties trying to get trough the login screen+server selection.
When i am finally in char screen and press play. It stucks in the Loading.. screen.

I played avalon 1 hour ago. but LD'd and since then couldn't get into the game any more (both pc's). stucks with loading on every server.

1min you have a connection..
the 2nd minute you lost it...
Over and over

aye. doing some tracerts to the login server of daoc.
1 time its running smooth.
1 minute later the aorta's refusing to respond.

at one point when i entered my char screen, all my chars where gone o0.
tried later they where there again

Except for the fact that the OpenTransit bit that has the regular issues is the London one.

who's problem is it then... our Chello. or the UK(london) Aorta.net ?

Well, it looks like Chello uses Aorta.net to route to OpenTransit, and it is them that is having issues.

I'd suggest reporting the above to Chello, in the first instance.

Problem seems fixed for me now..
(i reported it via Chello support).. and like 1 min later.. Fixed
guess it's just luck
