Condemned

Just finished playing the demo for this game, so sweet, lots of bludgeoning transients with objects not primarily designated as weapons (a.k.a "die at the hand of my rustily nailed 2x4, hobo junkies!"). I have this game for the Xbox360. It's a good game, nothing spectacular but good. You get some nice little tools to play around with, and some of the weapons you get to use are interesting. Whacking a crackhead with a keyboard and watching the keys go flying all over the place was quite amusing. It can be quite creepy at times also.

I'd give it 8/10.

I've had the full game for a few days now, thouroughly enjoying it.
Played the demo and got hooked on it straight away. I'm a big fan of horror movies/games, so this fits well in my collection Good game, good graphics, good gameplay, what other game do you get to beat people up with a locker door?

I'm one of those that plays every game wishing I could grab random objects from the environment to use as weapons, so that's the selling point for me on Condemned. About how long would y'all say it took to complete the game? Also, I heard there are PC perks that the 360 game doesn't have, know anything about that?

I have just completed Condemed on the XBox 360.

Good

• Great graphics
• very scary and atmospheric, but only if you use surround sound
• Great storyline

Bad

• too short
• levels are all very similar
• finalee is a bit disappointing
• unanswered questions concerning the main character

Yes you can pick up things to use as weapons but not just anything lying around, they are quite specific

Wow, thank you, that looks great! Yeah, I really wish that designers would play more with the format. I understand that market forces (and game engines) keep them locked into certain boundaries, but stuff like the above would be really popular with some gamers, I think.

I played Condemned for a while on my buddy's 360 (PC version sold out, had to order it online) yesterday and found my favorite weapon yet: The Paper Cutter. Wish I had screenshots. Just brutal.
