Con loss...

Just started to use some 99% af51 cloth parts, a 100% Vest from an Atlantis quest and some jewelry i gathered the last couple of days. After 1 1/2 hour using it (not chaining) some parts allready lost 1 % con with this rate its weared out in 100 hours or so, some items are not replacable and high value items. Is this normal or is con loss changed in last patch?

you think its bad, wait to you see the con decay rate of a necros stuff. Not sure whats happening but mithic probably have there decay rate the same as a L44 (ie pet at 50) using L50 stuff, on top of that necro pets probably take more melee attacks/hits than any other caster (BDs probably the only thing that are close).

Was in barrows with my necro for 3 hours the other day , went in on 100% con freshly repaired armour , came out with 94% con armour
And thats with af46 cloth so not even level 50 armour.

I think what happens with necros is that, as the necro pet has no individual body areas to hit (head, body, arms, hands. legs, feet) each hit the pet takes, it feedsback the relevent con loss to every body zone, so each hit the necro pet hits, is the same as 'normal' class taking 6 hits. This would, in theory, make the necro's gear degrade 6x faster than anyone else's. Although, it shouldn't actualy be 6x faster, as a necro pet generaly has a lot higher absorbtion% than anyone else, but it would still be a significant increase to the rate.

For PvE i use a load of level 35-40 jewels and cloak, these seem to wear faster than my epic armour, which dropped 10 points on con compared to 15 on the gems.

So even using lower AF and DPS stuff seems to have little effect.

Yes something about the amour degrade, as a necro i used 3 toa amour down to 0 dur in 1 month, talk about fast degrade
An other thing my Warrior had his WoW belt for 1 year and still on 45% dur and i pve alot with him

Con loss? 30%

ONE HOUR, Con goes from 100% to 70%

its the con loss on artis that worries me - after the insane amount of time to get them, get the scrolls, level them to 10 and produce an SC setup based around them - eep!

rvr 4 hours with sun belt equiped - lost 1% con, had already lost 7% getting it to 10

thats some non-funnay shit!

1-10 on scalars, ~10h hardcore pve tanking = 3% con, doesnt seem that out of line tbh.
