nice comp.. i just dont like the motherboard :) for the first c if u can find a motherboard there support duel channel and the 2nd the on board sound will take some cpu (even if u dont use it) and it r actully pretty compared that u get some of best.

and another thing get some really cooling for u cpu and gfx as they get pretty hot (gfx w/o cooling get nearly 100 degrees after a good day of playing) and the cpu can also get very hot and specally coz it r amd (but amd still beats intel)

you will need a case to stick it in too

~£100 for the CoolerMaster Praetorian PAC-T01-E1 - Silver (No PSU) (CA-045-CM) is the daddy for cooling. I have one, and it's amazing... a bit noisy though, but with music playing whenever the pc is on, it's not really a problem

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Coolermaster_Cases_126.html

You'll also need a PSU: £29.32 for the Q-Tec 550W Dual Fan Gold PSU (CA-001-QT) is amazingly good for its price - I have this one in 2 pc's, its a bit noisy if it's on your desk, but not really a major problem.

Fans for GFX cards are standard, so dont worry about those.... they'll be built on.

Regarding heatsink fan - the one that comes with your CPU is fine unless you plan on doing some overclocking.... if you're getting the above mentioned case, then dont worry about it, you will fine.

the heat sink comes with a fan if you buy the retail version in the box. buy the OEM version and stick on a Jet 7+ with an external fan contoler.

also get the deluxe version of the board.

Erm, right. Using the onboard sound won't have any adverse effect in this instance. 100 degrees? Mine cuts out at 60!

1) Get a better soundcard. Creative need to be avoided if you have the cash.
2) Same for the speakers, as you have cash you can get some nice speaker setup. I'm not too versed in that side. But you can get a nice amp/speaker setup running on Digital output for some serious sounds.

(NB: Having a nice sound system makes fuck all dif if your mp3s are just shitty 128kb rips.)

3) Get a western digital raptor SATA drive.
4) Avoid COMBO drives. Get seperates.

with duel channel both of rams blocks r used at same time instead of the machince first check the first then 2nd, this use more ram but also make u PC works faster (u can really c it when zoning)

100 degrees w/o any problems :) my irls made old cpu was 144 degrees after a good day of daoc (there r a burning mark on the cabinet :) )

the reason why i recommand cooling on both cpu and gfx is that they will last alot longer then if u dont got and specially if u use amd cpu as they got hotter the intel (but amd got the fast cpu atm :) )
