The last few days ive noticed that my computer is running VERY slow. i normaly can run 2 accounts on it with no problems and have the highest grahpic settings enabled.

Now when i have 1 account on its very laggy/jumpy, and trying to load the other account up is out of the question. i try to switch over and it goes linkdead, and if it does work the lag is unplayable.

Ive tried turning all graphic features to the lowest, but its not much better tbh.

What steps can i take to see whats slowing it down and how can i speed things up. On the windows task manager, what priority should the clients be?

thanks in advance

Check the windows task manager and see if anything is using a high % of cpu. (Just had a machine with that problem at work. Spoolsv.exe using 90% of the cpu time - cleared jobs out of Microsoft Office Image writer and the problem went away)

Also do a check on the hard drive. Has it got plenty of space, and is it defragmented ? (I use DisKeeper to keep mine in good nick)

When running Camelot, is there a high level of disk activity (which can mean paging information from memory to hard drive) when things slow down ?
