hmm playing around with some vid shit atm

only made 3mins footage for the start and like 3 fights, the file comes to 76mb, compressed in Xvid codec like rure said in a thread a while back,

Anyone know wtf im doing wrong? or anyone got any tips? ty

well, i am not sure, but 76 mb doesnt sound Too bad, i was playing around with settings with a 1 minute piece of footage to find the best file size/quality and found it to be around the 20 mb/minute mark, there should be a slider in there somewhere that has size one end and qual the other, try fiddling with that, will take a look later and try and find where in the options it is.

edit, also what duact said, if you have audio make sure thats compressed too.

i think virtual dub can do it, but try asking septina what he uses, cant remember the name of the program

download lame mp3 codec, reboot if needed

open virtualdub, open the video file, set video > direct stream copy

audio > full processing mode

audio > compression > pick lame mp3 codec and pick the setting you want. im far from an audio pro so i just use something that worked for me in the past (44000, 128 kbps CBR iirc)

file > save as avi
