Comp booting when using "insta-ports"

Okay, I've had this problem as far as I can remember.
about 75% of the time when I use the Djinn's in ToA to port my computer just restart. Ain't fun at all moving around doing stuff in ToA. Haven't heard about anyone with the same problem. The same thing happens when the Troll in Ancestral Secrets quest ports you to a random city so something is messed up with my ports that don't give you a loading screen.

Anyone have a clue what might be wrong?

Ooops, my bad for not checking back far enough... Just saw an old post on this subject. Gonna try downloading latest network card drivers.

well i had this problem, was a real pain in the ass :x

i reinstalled latest net drivers gfx drivers etc, but no change, so i installed winXP (used winME before) and now its stable, never crashed since.
