What we see there is:

1. "Weak" mercenaries gaining half the RPs of Savages last week.

2. "Overpowered" savages making roughly double rp's last week as "underpowered" mercenaries.

3. Currnently "OK" and formerly "overpowered" berserkers making roughly 60% rp's last week of mercenaries and 30% of savages while having 148% of total rp's of mercenaries (and they've all re-rolled savages, so these are mostly idling chars).

Random albs still suck, but mainly because they spend more time whining on vnboards to get mids nerfed so they can compete on the same level, rather then play and get some "i win" ra's

What kalgarn said seems to be what's happening in midgard at the moment, tasos several zerks on prydwen who still played after the LA nerf have hit me 250+ mainhand oftenly at my speed(228 qui or so buffed) which is good damage.But as kalgarn said for zerks it seems very hard for them to get groups now due to savages which is also happening on excal server.

Also if a light tank uses positonals a lot they do better damage of course xD

tried the backpos chain on qte once, approx 170 damage on all three styles, cried and logged off

uber damage (oh i forgot the supercalifragilisticexpialidocious 40 dmg cold proc)

I wouldn't mind doing a test with a zerk on pryd if they wish to, maybe can see difference then in damage with each others stats and speed of weapons etc.

Klavrynd what speed weapons?was that 170 all the time?because every light tank gets around 20% or so damage variance no matter what spec they are.Also where you 50/50/28?

that's with a base qui (50) template, 4.2 double bladed and 2.4 hand axe (99%) and 68 axe/laxe

U guys seem very focused on the actual dmg each class do. But try and see the total picture here. In a set 1fg vs. 1fg senario, mids have to face uber RAs that makes target escape and get uber melee resist.

Yes I do agree mid tanks > alb tanks (in pur melee)....but alb doesnt have to face SOS/BoF - combo. Yes mid have AE stunn/AE mezz (insta) but how long does that "stuff" stick on alb tanks? zip, nada.....capish ! As a healer, only CC spell that can have "some " effect is castable mezz. Yes I can interupt alb support, but thats about it. Casting instaspells is just handing out free CC immunity.

Yes PR is nice, but the PRed target is what? A PRed healer has full pow yes, and is handy. But its also unbuffed, wich means ~500 less hp, ~150 less dex (casting time equal to eternity). How hard can it be to see an unbuffed healer about to cast a spell and interupt it ? Its easy! How hard is it to kill a target with 1400hp? Its easy and takes 1-2 sec for an assist-train. A PRed healer/shamn can do nothing than recast endu (sham) and heal(healer). CC is almost pointless coz SoS is still up and alb tanks will still have imunity due to det4+ tanks.

Try and see the dilemma from own experience.....its damn hard beeing mid atm, and it will get worse (1.65). But we'll just have to find albs weak spot and try again...but that aint many ;)

Try playing a hib against a fotm-grp, then comment on what's hard.

To be honest, most of the people posting in this thread have ignored the hib vs mid issue. We don't have any good (no, DoTV is teh suck and on a hybrid) dmg-reducing RAs to play with, and as so savages will rip you a new one all the time.

Sucky but true - argue all you want to about overpowered GP (rofl...), BAoD and chanters.

Midgard vs Hibernia, it ain't hard to point out who has the easy-mode.

Yup, the RP amounts are very similar, once you consider the population difference. And that could be something to do with the realm populations in general, as:
