Because when they wake up today and read the papers about how special they are, they know they can be shit for the next 15 games and point back to this one. Same as the result in Germany many moons ago they which they were talking about that last night, it shows you how many good performances we have had since then.

The whole country will go on about how great we are then we will get stuffed by Belarus or something. I do have to say I thought Rooney was sublime last night.......as a midfielder, we need him in midfield and Crouch and Owen up front.

On a plus point Chris Waddles commentary on Setanta is great, its the one thing Setanta is good for because the picture is almost unwatchable.

Anyone see that charity footy match on Sunday? Shearer is still awesome and would still get in the England squad imo.

Rooney is fine where he is. You want him ahead of the midfield, its when he tracks back that England lose their attacking edge. This is how I expect him to play at United now Berbatov is there, with Berbatov in the Heskey role (but obviously much better I hope).
