College, Rain and Laminated Number cards...

College induction day today for us second years (we 0wn y00 n3wbs!!11!) and it was utter crap.

After filling out our rollover forms and getting them signed, which took a good 40 minutes due to our scruffy ass tutor b10t(h we had to go ALL the way down to the other college site to be inducted into our second year.

This is where the fun began

walked into the library where we were being inducted and was greeted with a large sign telling me to get a number and wait. I was number 58, which considering the number of people in college i thought wasnt that bad, cue librarian..

"Number 12 pleaseeeeee"

*looks at number*
"BOLLOCKS"

So that was an hour of waiting in a stinky library.

Finally my time came and i sat down and was read the subjects i'd chosen.
Woman: "so your're doing A2 Business Studies, AS Accounts and AS English Literature??"

Me: "........ A2 Accounts"

"Oh"

So it turns out i havnt been entered for A2 accounts, instead the college has fucked up and put me in AS. It can be sortyed out of course... as soon as college decide if Accounts is going to be taken here..... or 10 miles away at a different college.

So how about that weather eh???

Yup, being there I can say our tutor is an absolute ass.

Although I didn't cause as much trouble as you and got it all done straight away.



About the weather, I had to go home in the cold and rain with a T-shirt on. you had a fuckin jacket so be thankfull. :}

Time to own some first year newbies then, with me Charlton?

Heh, and i though my induction was a pain in the arse. It took about 2 hours to A) sort out lessons, B) sort out my college computer account and C) get a photo done for meh college card.

From what i remmeber last year, the enrollment wasnt a pain.. just looked for th IT Section in the Canteen, and filled out the form.. etc etc

I had my first year induction night at College on Thursday night, and because I'm pished and cba, you can read all about it here.

But I had a decent enough time, was fairly easy going etc.

I think I may enjoy this

well a point of view from the "other side", hehe my sis works in a college and 'cause I was out of work she got me on data entry duty which meant I had to talk civily to 16 year olds and take a picture of them with a cheap web-cam . apart from it being a pain in the arse it was easy work........
