Codecs to view daoc movies?

Hi

I am stuck atm, downloaded a movie from VNboards of a hunter and cant view it, i figure its cause of i missing right codec but cant be sure (the thread dont say witch to use)
And codecs is evil imo as i cant find a nice Bundle of em or easy to install ones??
bes would be if anyone of u have found a package wite assorted good-to-have codecs i can easy install and play in windows media player, nothing fancy just wanna watch em not record

(btw found xvid homepage and only found some prog to install no onlycodec?)

www.divx.com is a favorite. Free codec available and a semi decent player too.

BS player also come bundled with some: http://www.bsplayer.org/

http://www.rdklein.com:8080/computertrend/user/codecs/XviD.exe for vidx or http://www.xvid.org/ for the source.
