CoD4 Modern Warfare question

Just installed this as it's been laying around in my room for ages. As there is no official patch area on their retard website, i needed to find out what patches I require.

At the moment 1.7 is the latest patch, but it says you need the 263mb patch from 1.6

I also noticed it said if you have 1.5, you need to make sure you have 1.4 otherwise you wont have all the maps etc....

Can anyone tell me which patches I do and dont need please?

Downloaded 1.6 patch and hoping that includes everything previous. Then 1.6-1.7 so I think this should get me up to date.
