Anyone know if u have to hand in your own personal Music box's (CS Pre-Quest) to Eramai (to get credit) or if just one person can do it for the whole BG?
Ive had conflicting reports on this.. and also some have said hand musicbox b4 you start killing him and others say wait till hes on 10%?

As long as eramai doesn't deagro after you give him the music box it doesn't matter what % you give it to him at, although if he de-agro's you should give him another music box.

Im getting very confused now on this artifact...

so far ive done it loads of times..

1.. Did but didnt realise about pre-quests.. NO CREDIT
2.. Did but didnt hand Musicbox in .. NO CREDIT
3.. Did and handed Music box b4 fight .. NO CREDIT
4.. Did and handed Music box @40%hps .. NO CREDIT
5.. Did and handed Music box @10%hps .. NO CREDIT
6.. Did and BG member handed Music Box.. NO CREDIT

Kind of getting a bit frustrated now..

Is credit only given if the actual cloak drops?
Times ive handed in music box during fight, Music box disapears
from inventory and brief chat box pops up from eramai.. is there
something I have to click on in chat box? (cus I have to leg it from
pbaoe and box disapears)

/quest says...

On step 3 of quest "Cloudsong"
What to do: "speak to eramai to trade music box for the cloak"

I double checked this and it stayed same after I handed in cloak to
eramai on attempt 4.

any help much appreciated..

Have you tried speaking with Eramai before handing him the box and attacking? Might be a dialog you have to finish before handing it in, unsure. It's unlikely you have to wait for cloak to drop to get the encounter.

3 and 6 should have given you credit, not sure about 4 and 5. Dont think its connected to the cloak drop.


/edit wondering if 6 is true.... as i did Scorp Tail in BG and didnt get credit while the ppl in the group that killed Terkari did get credit.

Think you have to talk to him, but not necessarily give music box, think somebody else can do that. But you must have the music box when you talk to him, or must have had it, aka done the quest to get the dialogue part done.

dont forget is grp encounter not BG

so if you are not in the killing grp you wont get credit

Should get credit if you meet the level requirements and hand Eramai the music box before you attack him. Has worked for me / groupmates everytime so far.

Yeah this is what im being told, Ive done a Right-Now question and hopefully will get it sorted because it appears im stuck/bugged on part3 of pre-quest (hand musicbox in)
