Closing threads.

I can't seem to close my own threads. Ive tried changing layouts but no joy. Ive seen screen shots with admin options in another thread but i dont get those. Any ideas what i'm doing wrong?

You are not an admin and therefore can't close a thread.

Or you can look under "Thread Tools" drop down menu...

I only want to close a thread of my own. I have no option in thread tools????

I get the options in the thread tools panel thing at the top of the thread - maybe you only get it if you stump up some wedge as dysfunction says.

Is this actually true or are peoples guessing here?

I, for one, would like to know for sure if you can only close your own threads if you've contributed the £10. Seems a little unfair on the other members.
