Classic Server Ranger

With the lack of buffbot range, and Rangers having teh ewul self buffs, how effective will they be in RvR ?

What spec do u think would be more effective? high self buffs or more Melee' ?

Would be interesting to hear some input from teh uber rangers/melee rangers as would like to know how viable they will be Solo ?

oh and just to increase the thread interest how about the same for Vamps ? !

Thought classic only meant no toa?

I played on lamorak US and im not 100% sure but i think the server was called classic, was no toa there but all other expantions was.

classic server rangers should go 30 or 31 PF, 27-35 bow, 35ish stealth and the rest sanely divided between CD and weapon spec imo

As someone else said, classic means no access to toa zones. That means no artifacts and no mls. The rest of the game remains the same.

So no idea where you got the idea they won't be implemented from

Try thindraki with unbuffed char and fight a vampire. Thats how "classic server" will be like in few months. Everyone will realize that vamps are teh Ubzors and there is no reason to try solo with anything else. Even fg vs fg fights are effected by that also, vamps in group mean more buffs for the rest of the team by them group main healers/buffers.

Well tis how I plays all the time . I can keel vamps in ordinary gear - the well twinked ones are beyond me for sure though.
