Classic client, is it needed?

I'm mostly using the SI client at the moment, so does the it need the classic client to be installed for it to work or can I remove it? (Both are installed in diffrent directories)

I only have SI installed. You only require the CD-Key for classic on the website itself, otherwise the disc is just a coffee mat of some quality.
