I played a paladin in daoc and it was shit. Boring. I somehow got drawn to bear shaman in AOC, which again, was just like a paladin. Shit. Boring.

What order class do i need to avoid so I dont make the same mistake for a 3rd time? Or am I just destined to be a paladin for ever?

Ironbreaker is one of the 2 meatshield tanks from Order. They gain Grudge from being struck which gives them and the group bonuses...

They are quite cool as you can fight people at range (ideal for when you are doing keep defense) and you can spec more in the Bow Mastery to aid this.

You do have melee and the damage is ok. This would help if you have to chase a caster plus you get a couple of instant bow shots for when they are out of range.

The class seems good, however I played a druid in WoW and hated the bloody form changes. You have certain abilities which can only be done in the Bow STance, or only in the Middle stance or Melee stance.

Yeah the Shadow Warrior is really fun to play, you got the tools to kill every single class 1v1, ofc it doesn't really happen often you meet someone solo atm but when played well no other class can touch you.

The Damage is pretty nice also when specced for it, often able to 2-3 shot casters / support.

Play a blaster (any of the ranged DPS) and you should have a laugh -especially the Squig herder or Engineer, though maybe not the chaos Magus - looks a bit crap to me, though I'm not in beta: just a gut feeling.

I think to be honest its more like your play style is boring. I watched you fight once and thought it was like watching paint dry.

Maybe if you introduced some of your hubcap stealing skills into your game play . then you and us would find your game play more interesting

Warrior priest will be the class that changes every patch imo. It is kinda OP and I think they will struggle to find a suitable balance for the class.

Both classes have sperate spec line's that are out of Tanking:

Chosen: WARDB - Career Builder - Chosen
Black Orc: WARDB - Career Builder - Black Orc

Choose which ever you find the most fun and play it any way you like. Although grouping up you will prolly be like a Fury Warrior from WoW. Looks nice n all does some okish dmg but would prefer them to hold a shield. :p

Perhaps if you shared what you found boring about these classes?

They can both use Shield or a great weapon, and have decent abilities to facilitate both. I would expect the Black Orc to do more overall damage than the Chosen, purely as the Chosen's aura are more group support.

With the mastery lines you can go all-out attack and with the Black Orc at least can get some really good damage going.

They are mainly tanks, but they are essential in both rvr and pve.

They are not melee DPS classes, but they can dish out some reasonable damage...their main strength is survivability and defense for themselves and their groupmates....and they are very good at it.

To be perfectly honest, if you don't want to use a shield I'd recommend you try a Marauder first, they are pure melee DPS and they are awesome :)

i wouldn't say it'll get much decent buffs its supposed to be a defensive class i found it very very boring and annoying as i like killing ppl not waiting for em to come to me :p

They have increased survivability and made the pets not moving less annoying but unless you like standing around waiting for ppl to come to you you'll find it boring :p

Infact i was browsing abilities the other day and got jumped by one he didn't get his pet out and was dead before i was below 90% :x (on bright wiz :flame:)
