thanks for putting my accounts on autorenewal.
it was truly not my intention to stop paying for this great game during the summer.

Great isn't it, twice they did it to me and then said it was my fault even when I could prove that auto-renewal was switched off.

Apparently it now turns on autorenewal to whichever subscription-length you chose last. Which sucks...

I still think subs pages are buggy...

Happend to me aswell, but for now it's set to Next subscription period = NONE...

If you set it to NONE, and then click on VALIDATE, and then look on your personal info etc, then back to the SUB info, you'll notice that it's reverted back to old state...At least it behaved like that a few days ago

Seems to work (at least it says I have no more subs coming after this one) if you select None, then validate and close down browser...

I've ordered a new creditcard btw, I don't trust GOA at all...
I bet they'll turn on autorenew in like 2 years from now or something.. :twak: :flame:

Like I always say, ring the police. Goa are STEALING your money, you wouldn't put up with it on the street so shouldn't do online -_-.

they didn't inform every person by mail did they ?
and it's not that they cleary state doing this when you press validate/accept when you enter/entered you cc info

therefor it's illegal doing so.

For the record I cancelled by subs on Sunday, it'll be interesting to see what happens come the middle of august once the subs runs out. Right now NONE is the set subscription, previously I paid for a 6 month one so if that kicks off I'll have my CC company chase them :p

Funny how I at the end of every subscriptionperiod go "DOH! forgot to renew again!" and I never set it to auto renewal or had to unsubcribe.
If I'm to fault GOA in any dealing with my subscriptions it's that half of the times they forget to send me the "Your subscription runs out in 2 days, blablabla..." :)

I'll second that.. Although my sub has suddenly been set on autorenewal a couple of times too.. Haven't really cared, since I was gonna pay and play anyways, but I think they should set the autorenewal to off as standard, so that everyone can be in charge themselves...

And here's me with the exact oposite problem. I've been trying (unsuccessfully) for 3 months to get my 2nd account ON autorenewal, so I don't have to keep renewing manually every month.

Bah, no escape from it I guess...
Did make a paladin in D2 just to get a break from DAOC, but seems they gonna reset the ladder tomorrow, so it's almost like artifact grind exp again in D2 :p

Oh, sorry, forgot I was talking D2 :p
I bet I can get lvl 80 in about 10 hours effective played time and helpful people giving out drops for free ;)

Maybe because there are so many people trading and buying and not changing their emails to their own so they ofcourse don't get an email saying your subscription has almost ended... GOA hasn't overcharged me once and has always, yes always send a nice email telling me my subscription had almost ended... so dunno what you guys/girls always do but I doubt it's GOA's fault always... Let me correct that, the company GOA hired to do.. cause it isn't GOA themselves doing the billing info.

Hmmmm... Well, I've always had the same e-mail address, and there's been a couple times when I haven't gotten that nice e-mail. Although, I don't blame GOA or the company GOA hired for this. I know that e-mails aren't to be completely trusted and that they sometimes get "lost" somewhere along the line. But, I can't blame the Internet for that nice autorenewal that suddenly triggers itself...
