cl_passeservermessage?

Does any1 know what this means i get it both on Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Counter-Strike?

And i haven't got a clue what this means and how to correct it.

I believe that this is either caused by problems interpreting the messages from the server. It may be your connection to the server is baaad.

What connection are you on. For CS it may mean playing with the rate, cl_cmdrate and cl_updaterate settings.

My Current Connection is ADSL

I have only had this problem since i got Broadband.

Did you change your rate, cl_updaterate and cl_cmdrate settings to reflect your new connection ?

Go to the console and enter :

rate 7000
cl_updaterate 40
cl_cmdrate 40

These are only suggested values for ADSL connection. you might need to adjust up/down to get the best for your specific connection.

If you want to reset these values, go to [Play CS] - [Internet Games] and select your connection
type in the top right corner.
